Well again stumbled over another great article on the Wired website. The article indicates that the Auzzies have made a big step towards quantum computing by slowing down light and storing some info on it -- ie: making a quantum memory.
I've never actually studied on the 'quantum' level....but was really interested in doing so after seeing the movie "What the bleep to we know", which is sort of a spiritual and social look at quatum phsyics and chemistry.
I followed up on quantum computing on Wikipedia which led me back to my computability and complexity roots and my CS days.....now even more intrigued to read up on this stuff as it is not so far from my background.
Man I just wish my days were longer or that I was a super duper speed reader. So much to learn and so little time!
ez now -- back to Real Estate law readings....focus focus....haha
