Due the rootkit fiasco Sony has agreed to replace all it's rootkit CDs with DRM-free CDs or MP3s of the cd. It is great that all this stems from one blogger's post. Click here for that bloglink.
This will hopefully send a big PR message to all companies looking to embrace DRM and other sneaky tools to stop those "evil pirates" (or just use code to grant themselves more IP rights then they have under law)

(note: a weird thing is that the group My Morning Jacket was the cd the blogger was raging about - but I didn't see it on the list of artists...hmmmm....weird)

NEW UPDATE: AHHH! i just checked it again and they changed the link - i guess now sony wants to keep the total list hush hush to avoid have to make even more millions in payouts!
