well I stumbled upon the community bicycle network site (from toronto). it has a great program called bike share, where seasons pass holders (for $30) can pick up a bike at numerous hubs all over toronto, and bike around (for up to 3 days at a time - for long bikeride lovers) and then return the bike at any hub they want. all the bikes are yellow with a basket on the front. it would be great to see downtown toronto packed with bikes in the spring/summer like in amsterdam or something. since I have my awesome blue bike (see below - but mine is bright royal blue with multiple baskets) I won't need the bike share program - but i love the idea!
